List of Sources

http://www.tate.org.uk/modern-
From this website I obtained General information about the Tate organisation but also about the Tate modern branch in particular. The Tate in general is a charity dedicated to presenting to the general public the artists side of London and England however the Tate modern specifically presents various displays including performing and visual art. I also obtained information on specifically what displays are going on at the Tate in the present but also some upcoming events such as Trisha Brown Dance Company.

http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/-
From this website I gained very informative material on what the Southbank Centre is, what is in it and what it does. I found that it is actually a complex that consists of a variety of halls and organisations based in the very heart of London near to Big Ben and the London Eye.

http://www.shakespeares-globe.org/-
This website provided me with lots of information about Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre which used to be and still is used for educational and leisure purposes.

http://www.imax.com/-
This is the official IMAX website which gave me lots of information about certain films and also some of the many IMAX cinemas all around the world.

http://www.bfi.org.uk/-
This is the official British Film Institute website which has information about many of the activities carried out by them and also some of the events sponsored and presented by them.

http://www.bfi.org.uk/-
This the website from which I got all of the information about the Royal Festival Hall. It was very hard to find this information as this was the only website giving it. It gave me information about some of the history of the Hall, some of the main places to visit and what you can do in the hall and also about that everything in the building i.e. entry is free (however food must still be purchased).

http://www.radiotimes.com/servlet_film/com.icl.beeb.rtfilms.client.simpleSearchServlet?searchTypeSelect=5&frn=49953 -
From this website I got my 1st Despicable Me review. This review helped me greatly in that it showed me the very professional tone which I copied.

http://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/view/205371/Despicable-Me-film-review-and-trailer -
This is the second website from which I got my 2nd professional review. This newspaper/ website is a little more known than the 1st therefore I have a bigger range of types of review so that I can try and mimic a wider range of professional skills. This communicated the message of what the film was about very efficiently using little words. So this showed me that I have to keep my review “short and sweet.”

http://movies.sky.com/despicable-me/review -
This is the 3rd website from which I got my 3rd review and as it is Sky’s official website the standard of the review which I read was very high. The points were short and simple at the same time as being effective and also conveying a very strong message that Despicable Me is a strong mix of comedy and action. The excited and colourful language furthered the writings effect causing the write to want to see the film itself a lot more.

http://ww2.prospects.ac.uk/p/types_of_job/architect_salary.jsp-
This website showed me the things which are entailed in a job as a architect including the pay which is very high however the down side to being an architect is that you may have to stay in university for 7 years which is incredibly long.

http://ww2.prospects.ac.uksp/-
This website showed me all of the aspects of a job as a graphic designer. It showed me that many graphic designers are either self employed or work for some sort of firm to help make things like films, adverts or even demonstrations of activities. The graphic designer is very important in today’s society.

http://ww2.prospects.ac.uk/p/types_of_job/print/dancer.jsp-
This website showed me that to become a contempory dancer it takes more than just the ability to dace; in most situations you need to get qualifications in dance in order to get employed into a dancer’s firm or a company that deals with dancers i.e. puts on dance performances

http://www.ehow.com/about_6609476_job-description-session-musician.html-
This website informed me of what a session musician actually is because the name is not very widely known or self explanatory. A session musician is someone who is hired for an event or a recording of a song to play their instrument however it is extremely hard for a session musician to become famous or widely known as they are always moving around and finding new jobs. However in some cases they are so good that they do become famous even though it is extremely hard.

http://ww2.prospects.ac.uk/p/types_of_job/publishing_and_journalism.jsp-
This website showed me what a job as a journalist entails. It also showed me the likely pay and the qualifications necessary in order to become a journalist. It showed me that it can be very herd to become one and that you have to be very self- motive in order to get anywhere as one.

http://www.westminster.ac.uk/-
This is the final job which I looked at which is games design which I personally may like to do. It showed me that it is a lot of work become a professional games designer as you need to learn the computing “language” which is English but just you need to string the words together in strange ways in order to get the desired outcome.
